HB554 "Protect Public from Dangerous Wild Animals" needs your support

NC Representatives McGrady, Hurley, Hardister, and Saine have introduced legislation to ban private individual ownership of dangerous wild cats. The bill exempts wildlife sanctuaries (defined in the bill). This bill is critical to public safety and is a major step toward impacted the exotic pets and parts trade. This step is important to our mission of protecting wildcats in captivity by our stance against private ownership.

Please contact your NC legislator to express support for the bill!

For the details, Read the Bill. If you have concerns, visit our Facebook page to review the ongoing discussion.
